Approximately 800 employees of Banque Libano-Française gathered at the Unesco Palace under the theme "Together, it is possible", on Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at the occasion of the launching of the Bank's new corporate image.
In presence of H.E. Mr. Farid Raphaël, Chairman, Mr. Elie Nahas, General Manager, Mr. Jamal Mansour, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Walid Raphaël, Deputy General Manager, Mrs Raya Nahas, Secretary General as well as the Bank's managers, officers and employees, Banque Libano-Française revealed its new signature: "Banque Libano-Française, A partner for your ambitions", as well as its new image positioning.
Mr. Farid Raphaël opened the ceremony by tackling the consequences of this period of turmoil Lebanon has recently gone through, and insisted on the necessity to look to the future with confidence and optimism.
Mr. Elie Nahas then took the floor and insisted on the notion of belonging to the Bank and on Banque Libano-Française values. He asserted once again that he was confident that the BLF team "has the appropriate skills to take up its challenges".
Mr. Walid Raphaël then reaffirmed the mission, vision and positioning of BLF. He also presented the BLF strategy and an overview of its internal and external development, the diversification of its business activities as well as the distribution through its new distribution channels and the extension of its network.
On the other hand, Mrs Raya Nahas presented the means, resources and measures taken during the last two years for the achievement of the BLF sought vision and positioning. She then gave an overview of BLF advertising history, and reminded that every advertising message inevitably implies a promise made by the Bank to its clients, and that the Bank must live up to this promise.
Finally, Mrs Tania Rizk-Nacouz, Head of the Communications Division, presented Banque Libano-Française communication strategy as well as its new image positioning and the elements of the corporate advertising campaign based on the Bank's signature "Banque Libano-Française, A partner for your ambitions". The projection of the advertising film unanimously appreciated by the audience was one of the event's strong moments.
The ceremony was then followed by an exhibition of the various communication campaign means (films, billboards, posters…) and by an Iftar.
Each employee left the ceremony, proud of his belonging to Banque Libano-Française and with a customized gift, focusing on one of the strong messages sent by the BLF Management, i.e.: "Thanks to our team, everything is possible".
